Laugh out loud mayhem ensues with Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical take on the memories of his work on Sid Caesar’s “Your Show of Shows,” deemed to be a cultural phenomenon at the time, and the biggest variety show on television. Laughter is based on an actual dream team of comedy writers, including the likes of Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, Woody Allen and Neil Simon himself. Set in 1953, this hilarious show offers a behind-the-scenes peek at this talented group’s struggles to work together through each other’s neuroses, egos and non stop jokes to create some of television’s classic comedic moments.
