An intriguing dark comedy exploring what would happen if three women from three different time periods and cultures met in a doctor’s office today to discuss their maladies. Forgiveness, an 18th Century Chinese woman, has had her feet tightly bound since she was a young girl. Victoria, a 19th Century Englishwoman is corseted daily and suffers from “Hysteria.” Wanda, a modern woman nearing 40 thinks it necessary to surgically enhance her body with liposuction and breast implants. Husbands, doctors, Freud, the drug industry and the FDA all come under examination. This play analyzes the lives of these three women, as well as our society, the drug industry and the politics of cancer. The Healthcare Reform debate in America makes this production a must-see!
