‘night, Mother

This Pulitzer Prize winning drama opens with Jessie calmly asking her mother for her father’s service revolver, in order to commit suicide that very evening.  With brutal honesty Jessie reveals the reasons for her decision and how thoroughly she has planned her own death.  Suspense builds as Mama desperately tries to alter her daughter’s plans, sharing truths about issues that have affected Jesse’s life, but were never communicated to her.  This is the dialogue that most never get to have about suicide.  Will it change Jessie's mind?
